Lithuania's LNK TV picks up three seasons

PARIS — Gallic animation studio Xilam has sold TV and DVD distribution rights to “Oggy and the Cockroaches” in Eastern Europe, following last month’s Discop TV market in Budapest.

Lithuania’s LNK TV has picked up seasons one, two and three, while Russia’s VGTRK has bought seasons two and three.

On the home entertainment front, Russia’s CD Land has acquired video rights for the first three seasons and North Video, in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, has secured rights for the first season and is in negotiations for seasons two and three.

Another Xilam comedy series, “A Kind of Magic,” has been picked up by Disney Channel in Poland and Serbia. Video rights to “Shuriken School” have been acquired by Poland’s Kartunz and Romania’s Millennium Trading.
