LONDON — U.K. animation studio Aardman has restructured its TV distribution activities.
The combo’s marketing, licensing and distribution departments have merged to form Aardman Rights, which will market and sell the shingle’s content across all media.
It also aims to expand by representing third-party properties.
Aardman Rights will be run by Sean Clarke, previously in charge of marketing and licensing at the Bristol-based combo.
He will report to head of broadcast Miles Bullough.
Bullough said: “We wanted to create a more efficient and focused sales and marketing division to drive forward the exploitation our own properties as well as third-party rights across multiple platforms.”
