Ever feel that certain song lyrics were written with you in mind? What are they?
I have a mental block with lyrics…I never notice them. To me they are just another part of a song…like a sax, or fiddle solo. I think that’s why I like African music, I can’t understand the lyrics and the voice is a musical instrument.

Stevie Wonder. Madison Square Garden, ‘75. It was my first and Steve blew my 10-year-old mind.
