Keith Boesky

Agent

Back in the late ’90s, as president of Eidos Interactive, Boesky took charge of licensing the company’s “Tomb Raider” franchise, later leaping to ICM, where he became one of the few agents to focus on the emerging games field.

Now the former lawyer operates his own shop, Boesky & Co., where he has sold an array of properties and turned them into games, which include license deals for Clive Barker’s name and the “Afro Samurai” TV series. He also negotiated the vidgame deal around the Bourne film franchise.

“What made this deal unique was that the Robert Ludlum estate took an active role in the development of the game … with the cooperation of the studio (Universal), who took a backseat,” Boesky says.
