Obama’s Transition Donors

Among those who contributed to help the President-elect finance the transition: George Lucas, who chipped in $5,000, and Sony BMG’s Andrew Lack, who also gave $5,000.

And the one donation that is getting a lot of buzz comes from Doug Berman, who listed his employer as Dewey, Cheetam and Howe when he made his $500 contribution. That employer actually is the fictitious law firm mentioned in the closing credits of NPR’s “Car Talk.” Berman is that show’s producer.
