“It’s Raining McCain”

A couple of months ago, after the Will.i.am Obama video drew millions of Internet hits, suddenly a Hillary Clinton music video surfaced called “Hillary for You & Me.” It was, to say the least, cheesy. It was so cheesy it even looked like a parody in the vein of Up with People, even though it wasn’t.

So in recent days a new video has surfaced called “It’s Raining McCain,” in which three women sing lines like, He went off to Vietnam and he did what he had to do. McCain called the video “very entertaining.”

Well, there is hope for viral video, after all, as this was indeed a parody generated by Huffington Post humor site 23/6. It generated more than 1 million hits. The McCain girls, Barbara Baskin, Ellen Nira Cade and Jamie Robin, have a follow up, “Here Comes McCain Again.” Can “McCain Drops Keep Fallin on My Head” be far behind?
