Fonda for Obama

TMZ captures Jane Fonda outside a restaurant, where she is hounded by some pretty nasty paparazzi yet does answer a question shouted at her, who is she voting for?

"Obama!" she said.

Fonda is still a lightning rod for conservative groups, some of which in 2004 went to great lengths (doctoring photos) to link John Kerry with the actress. And the guess is that with John McCain in the race, they will do it again with Obama, as a way of spotlighting McCain’s service in Vietnam while Fonda was protesting the war and made her infamous trip to Hanoi.

McCain got his own celebrity endorsement on Thursday: Heidi Montag of "The Hills."
