Comedy Central’s First Political Ad

Comedy Central’s first political ad comes from MoveOn.org, a humorous pro-Obama spot that plays on his call for "hope."

The youth-centric ad comes from "Boy Meets World" star Rider Strong and Amber Benson of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Strong produced the spot and won the "funniest video" as part of MoveOn’s "Obama in 30 Seconds" ad contest.

MoveOn is spending $150,000 to show the spot on Comedy Central and MTV over the next week. MTV showed its first political ad ever last week, and it was an anti-Obama spot, of all things.
