They’ll be featured live on the new series, “Living Live,” June 1. And they were indeed “living live” — May 26 at the Bistro Garden in Studio City. Agent Frank Cooper and his sculptress-wife Sylvia celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary and his 95th birthday at a party thrown by producer-daughter Pamela.
Children, grand-children and great-grandchildren arrived from all points. Guests included longtime friends producer Sherwood Schwartz and wife Mildred, also a sculptress, producer Beth Polson, who with Frank Cooper had developed MOWs’.
As an agent, Cooper recalled he’d discovered Frank Sinatra in Hoboken, Dinah Shore in N.Y., represented Joe DiMaggio for showbiz appearances, and agented countless authors including Clifford Irving. At the celebration, the Coopers were remarried — for the fourth time — by the Skirball Center’s Uri Hersher.
Cooper is writing his memoirs — and is developing a B’way project based on a WWII story set in — the Folies Bergere. And wife Sylvia continues to create her sculpture. They are indeed — living live.
