NEW YORK — Fox Business Network has named four exec producers — all with CNBC stints on their resumes — as the net rolls toward its Oct. 15 launch.
Most recently departed from CNBC is Terry Baker, former exec producer of “Conversations With Michael Eisner,” who will produce weekday and weekend hours for FBN.
Also hired: Brian Donlon, former TV reporter at USA Today, who jumped to TV as a producer for CBS’ “Early Show” and later served as an on-air reporter at CNBC. Donlon, who also produced ESPN’s “Cold Pizza,” will produce FBN’s morning lineup.
Dayside programming will be overseen by longtime CNBC veteran Andrew Hoffman, who produced five CNBC shows before joining ABC’s “Good Morning America” in 2004.
Included was another transfer from within. Gary Scheier, exec producer of business news for Fox News Channel, shifted to FBN to head the biz network’s late afternoon and evening content.
Scheier will remain as a consultant to Fox News Channel’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto.” Prior to joining FNC in 1996, he was an associate producer at CNBC.
