Literary manager Kevin Donahue has been hired by management/production shingle Code Entertainment to rep clients and develop films for the company to produce.
Donahue brings such clients as screenwriter Christopher Landon (“Disturbia”), Trevor Munson (CBS fall series “Moonlight”), Gretchen Somerfeld (“Face Value”), Jay Garrett (“The Undoing”) and Ted Koland (“Saints and Sinners”). Donahue, a former development exec at the Donner Co., Prufrock Pictures and Atlantic Streamline, has been running his own management company since 2004.
Run by partners Bart Rosenblatt, Al Corley, Rick Berg, Larry Kennar and Rogers Hartmann, Code has a growing list of management clients and a $40 million revolving equity fund to finance and produce films with budgets of up to $20 million. Code produced and financed the John Dahl-directed “You Kill Me,” starring Ben Kingsley, Tea Leoni and Luke Wilson and currently in limited release through IFC.
