Warner Bros. TV has pinned senior VP stripes on Dan Limerick, the business affairs exec who handles deals for studio-based talent such as J.J. Abrams, Tom Werner and Chuck Lorre.
Limerick is the studio’s point person and lead negotiator for all business matters tied to those producers, as well as Warners-produced skeins such as “Smallville,” “One Tree Hill” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”
WBTV biz affairs topper Brett Paul said Limerick had “an immediate impact” on the division as soon as he joined the studio in 2002 as a director of business affairs.
“He is a quick study and has that wonderful ability to digest complicated issues and articulate them simply, while at all times keeping his eye on the ultimate goal of finding a common ground to make a fair deal,” Paul said.
Limerick was upped to VP in 2004. Before joining WBTV, Limerick was director of business affairs at the now-defunct Carsey-Werner-Mandabach.
