Veteran writer was member of HFPA for 20 years

Vivi-Ann Anderson, a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. for 20 years, died June 2 in Beverly Hills following a lengthy illness. She was 68.

Born in Sweden, Anderson moved to Los Angeles in 1956 and began writing celebrity pieces for her hometown paper. After raising her family in Los Angeles and working in education and psychology, she returned to journalism full-time in the early ’80s writing for Sweden’s major entertainment magazines. While living in London she wrote about entertainment and dance for both the Los Angeles Times and the International Wall Street Journal.

Vivi-Ann is survived by two daughters, Kristine and Julie Belson, and two grandchildren.
