Teri Korban Seide, 56, media exec

Strategist worked at Allied Advertising

Teri Korban Seide, a veteran media executive for such companies as Universal Pictures, National Research Group, AIP, Orion, Savoy Pictures, Polygram and Nielsen Ent., died Monday in Los Angeles after a long battle with multiple myeloma. She was 56.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mount Sinai Mortuary, Hollywood Hills.

Most recently, she served as chief media strategist, strategic planning, at Allied Advertising specializing in filmed entertainment.

Born in New York, Seide began her career as a media buyer at Doyle Dane Bernbach. Seide grew up in the entertainment marketing business, learning from her late father, motion picture marketing executive Bernie Korban. She began working in Los Angeles after graduating from the U. of Texas at Austin.

She is survived by her husband, George, a daughter and her mother.

Donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
