NATPE’s upcoming TV Producers’ Boot Camp has unveiled its slate of speakers, panelists and so-called Pitch Pit catchers for its fifth annual edition, which unspools at the House of Blues and Comedy Store in Los Angeles July 26 and 27.
Sean Perry, head of Alternative Television at Endeavor, will deliver the opening keynote at the Boot Camp State of the Industry session. After his remarks, he’ll be joined for a discussion by several exec producers: Denise Cramsey (” Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”), Thom Beers (” Deadliest Catch”), and Craig Piligian (“Ghost Hunter”).
In other events, attendees will be able to put their pitching skills to the test in face-to-face meetings with Pitch Pit catchers from some two-dozen companies in the biz.
Among speakers confirmed for one or another workshop or session are John Ferriter, senior VP, Worldwide Head of Nonscripted Television at the William Morris agency; Allison Katz, casting director at 3 Ball Prods; Gary Lico, President/CEO of CABLEready; and Ryan Reber, an agent at UTA Online.
Speakers were unveiled Tuesday by NATPE prexy-CEO Rick Feldman.
“The hands on, face-to-face networking opportunities over these two days is of tremendous value to both aspiring producers and companies seeking those who will help shape the future of our business,” Feldman said.
