Bridget Moynahan is setting up shop at ABC next season, inking a talent deal with the net and its sibling ABC Studios.
Pact calls for the studio and net to develop a starring vehicle for Moynahan or cast her in one of its 2008-09 pilots. Most recently, Moynahan impressed Alphabet execs with her performance in the short-lived J.J. Abrams skein “Six Degrees.”
Prior to that skein, Moynahan’s most recognizable TV gig was as Mr. Big’s g.f. Natasha on HBO’s “Sex and the City.” Thesp has appeared in a number of features, starring with Will Smith in “I, Robot,” Nicolas Cage in “Lord of War,” Al Pacino in “The Recruit” and Ben Affleck in “The Sum of All Fears.”
Up next for Moynahan: a part in the Tim Robbins starrer “Noise.” She’ll begin focusing on the Alphabet deal later this year after giving birth to her first child.
