Hallmark Channel and its Hallmark Movie network sibling have promoted Nancy Carr to senior VP of corporate communications.
“She’s resourceful and strategic in how she communicates our story to the press,” said Henry Schleiff, president and CEO of Hallmark Channels.
Carr’s portfolio at Hallmark encompasses special events, media and government outreach, audience services, public affairs and internal communications. Carr was VP of corporate communications.
She joined Hallmark Channel early in 2005 as VP after serving as VP of communications for the CBS-TV Network where she ran the campaigns for TV series, movies, miniseries and specials. Earlier in her CBS career, she ran publicity for daytime and children’s programming. Before CBS, Carr was senior manager of publicity for the Fox Network.
Carr reports to Dave Kenin, Hallmark’s executive VP of programming.
