NEW YORK — The road reversed and headed uphill a robust 18% in week 17 (Sept. 17 – 24). The 13-show slate didn’t see any new losses or additions, just a few key increases and added perfs. The 13-show slate grossed a total of $13,958,380.

The Sacramento production of Jersey Boys set the house record for an 8-perf show with $1,315,573, a second record for Sacramento (week 16’s show set the 9-perf record).

The biggest changes to the slate came from “The Lion King,” which went from a 3-perf week in Cleveland to its regular 8 in Honolulu. “Spamalot” caught on quick in Denver, jumping more than $500,000 from its final week in Salt Lake City.

“High School Musical” joined the regional millionaire’s club this week.

For the fourth consecutive week, “Wicked’s” touring company was the highest grossing show on the slate in Boston with $1,573,352.
