‘Make Me a Song’ back on track

Revue to open at New World Stages

William Finn revue “Make Me a Song” is back on track for an Off Broadway production, opening at New World Stages in November.

The show, a four-actor anthology of songs by composer Finn (“Falsettos,” “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”), had postponed a spring engagement over scheduling difficulties. Production first bowed summer 2006 at TheaterWorks in Hartford, Conn.

Conceived and directed by Rob Ruggiero, “Make Me a Song” is produced by Junkyard Prods. and Larry Hirschhorn (“Butley,” “Flight”) in association with Jayson Raitt. “Song” begins previews Oct. 30 for a Nov. 12 opening.
