Summit to remake Korean ‘Days’

Film unit picks up rights to thriller

Summit Entertainment has picked up remake rights to thriller “Seven Days” from Korean distributor Prime Entertainment.

Directed by Won Shin-yeon, pic centers on a lawyer who must save a man on death row in order to rescue her own kidnapped daughter.

Pricetag for remake rights was in the low six figures. Original version of the film stars Kim Yun-jin of ABC’s “Lost” and will be released Wednesday.
