STOCKHOLM — Helmer Joachim Trier’s “Reprise” won best film and director at Norway’s film awards, the Amandas, handed out at the 35th Norwegian Intl. Film Festival in Haugesund on Friday.
Pic, which was Norway’s contender for a foreign Oscar, also nabbed script honors for Trier and Eskil Vogt.
This year, the audience voted on “the people’s Amanda” for the first time. Award went to horror flick “Cold Prey.”
Lauren Bacall received the Liv Ullmann honorary award.
Other winners were: Actor, Raouf Saraj, “Winterland”; actress, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, “Cold Prey”; supporting actor, Henrik Mestad, “Sons”; youth film, “Jenter”; documentary, “Jenter”; short, “Janus,” by Linda Fagerli Saethren; foreign film, “The Departed”; feature straight to DVD, “Lady Vengeance.”
The Amanda Committee honored helmer Knut Andersen, and gave a special award to docu helmer Aslaug Holm.
