LONDON — The Film Agency for Wales has appointed Keith Potter as head of talent.
Potter will take responsibility for identifying and nurturing Welsh filmmaking talent and their projects, including the Cardiff-based agency’s slate of 20 features.
Potter previously headed up London-based production company Dan Films, where he worked closely with writing and directing talent.
Potter replaces Britt Harrison who has chosen to return to London.
Potter reports to chief exec Pauline Burt.
The Film Agency for Wales is funded by the Arts Council of Wales, the U.K. Film Council and the Welsh Assembly Government, via Creative Business Wales, which was set up to support, encourage and increase the range and number of films being produced in Wales and to foster the creative talent in the country.
