Scribe Peter Morgan has signed with UTA for representation.
The London native is coming off a mammoth year in which he earned an Oscar nomination and Golden Globe win for penning “The Queen.” He also nabbed a BAFTA award for last year’s “The Last King of Scotland.”
Morgan’s adaptation of his play “Frost/Nixon” is being directed by Ron Howard for Imagine, Working Title and Universal Pictures. Morgan also just finished work on “State of Play” for Universal and Working Title. He wrote upcoming Sony release “The Other Boleyn Girl” and has begun work on a sequel to “The Queen.”
Morgan also wrote and exec produced the HBO telepic “Longford,” which earned him another BAFTA kudo last year. Fox 2000 is in negotiations to turn his miniseries “The Jury” into a film to be written by Beau Willimon and directed by Marc Forster.
Morgan will continue to be represented by U.K. agent Greg Hunt and attorney Alan Hergott.
