Kino acquires ‘In Between Days’

Company picks up 2006 Sundance entry

Kino International has acquired 2006 Sundance entry “In Between Days.”

Deal covers all media in the United States and Canada, and Kino plans to release the film, which follows a young Korean immigrant as she comes to grips with both her new home and her feelings for her male best friend, on June 27

Pic was directed by So Yong Kim, who also wrote the screenplay with her husband and producing partner, Bradley Rust Gray.

Pic, which won the Sundance jury prize for independent vision, will open at New York’s IFC Center and expand throughout the summer.
