Kadison jets to Fox Atomic

Exec becomes VP of production

Fox Atomic has added Zak Kadison to its ranks as VP of production.

He will report to Fox Atomic production prexy Debbie Liebling, who has jump-started Atomic’s productions since joining the company last January.

In addition to scouting new material for the youth-oriented banner, Kadison will be involved with possible remake projects in the action, thriller and suspense genres.

“Zak knows our audience and is tapped into youth trends and the overall zeitgeist today,” said Liebling. “With Atomic facing a number of imminent production starts, Zak is joining the team at the perfect time.”

One of Kadison’s first projects will be Larry Doyle’s “I Love You, Beth Cooper,” produced by Chris Columbus and Michael Barnathan for Columbus’ 1492 Pictures.

Kadison was most recently senior VP of production at Gold Circle Films, where he oversaw projects including “My Sassy Girl” (Gold Circle), “Town Creek” (Lionsgate), “The Host” (Universal), and “Breaking News” (Paramount Vantage). He began his career at Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Spyglass Entertainment.
