When his daughter (Cuthbert) returns home to arrange his funeral, she discovers that his current wife and her five predecessors are fighting over who gets to bury him.David McIlvain and Holly Wiersma will produce. The Ring, which co-financed the Wiersma-produced indie “The Rockett,” is co-financing the comedy, and Ed Machek and Lou Maggio will be exec producers. Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Jon Liebman is exec producing as well.
Allen just finished the David Mamet-directed ultimate fighting pic “Redbelt” for Sony Pictures Classics.
