John McCain annouced his presidential bid on an entertainment show, but does he stand to gain much traction at all in the industry?

Hollywood Republicans believe that they have the ability to make some traction with two candidates, McCain and former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, in the race who diverge from President Bush’s strident conservatism.

"Being a Republican in Hollywood is such a minority at this point," says director David Zucker, "People don’t go around crowing about it."
