I’m with Fred

Fred Thompson launched a bare-bones website today, I’mwithfred.com, with the promise of more content to come. The slogan has an "I Like Ike" ring to it — and fits into recent campaign efforts to cast their candidates as more irreverent and loose than they have been. "Hillary for President," or, from 1996, the "Lamar!" (from Thompson’s fellow Tennessean Lamar Alexander).

Meanwhile, Chris Dodd wins the innovation award for creating a talk clock on his website for Sunday’s Democratic debate, measuring the time that each candidate got in the forum. It proved successful enough that the campaign deployed it for the GOP debate on Tuesday as well.
