Hillary’s Letter

That, and other news, in today’s Political Panorama.

Hillary Clinton has called a Pentagon official’s response to her inquiry on withdrawing troops from Iraq “outrageous and dangerous.” Undersecretary of Defense Eric Edelman had written to the senator, saying that her suggestions of planning for a withdrawal of troops reinforces “enemy propaganda.”  The whole exchange only bolsters her case, with even fellow Republicans calling for a withdrawal, and perhaps also quells criticism of her previous votes on Iraq.
