Hey kids, let’s put on a show!

There’s nothing funny about the strike. But that doesn’t mean there can’t be some funny during the strike.

That’s the aim of “The Strike Show,” a little bit of holiday cheer being put together by some writer-comic-performer types next week. Scheduled to appear: Seth MacFarlane (“Family Guy”), Emily Deschanel (“Bones”), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (the best thing about CBS’s short-lived “The Class”), Ed Helms (“The Office”), Jerry Minor (“Carpoolers”), Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”) and Jamie Denbo (“Happy Hour”).

Look for a mix of improv, stand-up and even some staged bits. Scribe Vibe has heard rumors of a dramatic interpretation of a scene from “Saved by the Bell”.

WGA members can get in free. Proceeds from paid admissions will go to the Motion Picture and TV Fund.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Shows are being held Dec. 12 and 14 at 10 p.m. Location: the Steve Allen Theater in H’wood.
