Former Warner Bros. TV publicity exec Lisa Rose has joined animation studio Wild Brain, where she’ll head up its PR/marketing department.
Rose will be based at the award-winning animation house’s San Francisco headquarters.
She’ll report to Wild Brain president/CEO Charles Rivkin, who cited her “proven creativity and extensive experience in entertainment public relations and marketing” in making the hire.
Wild Brain produces animated TV skeins (such as Disney Channel’s “Higglytown Heroes”) and won an Annie for the computer-generated short “Hubert’s Brain.” The company also produces animated commercial spots for clients such as Coca-Cola, Honda, Kraft and Nike.
Wild Brain subsidiary Kidrobot, which distributes collectible merchandise, has stores in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
At Warner Bros. TV, Rose managed publicity campaigns for shows such as “Smallville” and “One Tree Hill.” Before that, she was a publicist at Fox, working on “Beverly Hills 90210” and “Melrose Place,” as well as the Emmys.
Rose began her 13-year publicity career at Alfred A. Knopf in New York, repping authors such as James Ellroy, Peter Mayle and Chaim Potok.
