Television Asia, a news magazine focused on the entertainment industry in the Asia/Pacific region, has unveiled a new editorial team.
Don Groves has been appointed as editor, and Magz Osborne, the magazine’s senior correspondent in Singapore, has been promoted to deputy editor. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Groves was Asia-Pacific bureau chief of Variety/Daily Variety for 11 years and before that spent five years in Variety‘s London bureau. Most recently, he worked for Australia’s Southern Star Group.
Osborne has been covering the Asian media and entertainment scene since 1999 and worked for Variety and Daily Variety as a correspondent in Singapore for the last five years.
Published 10 times a year, Television Asia provides coverage of broadcasting, programming and production to digital rollouts and interactive platforms in the region. Like Daily Variety, the magazine is owned by media conglom Reed Elsevier.
