Style Network has paired with international not-for-profit organization Dress for Success on a national campaign to advance low-income women’s economic and social development and to encourage self-sufficiency through career development and employment retention.
Effort will include the production of a marketing video, to be screened at Dress for Success’ annual fund-raising gala in New York next month.
Another initiative, the ninth annual S.O.S. (Send One Suit) Week, runs through Saturday. Donated business suits collected during the week will be distributed to Dress for Success offices nationwide.
Style will support S.O.S. Week on-air by creating and airing a public service announcement featuring Niecy Nash, host of the cabler’s skein “Clean House.”
