Executive will oversee ad campaigns for all releases

Erin O’Neil has been upped to senior VP of creative advertising at Warner Independent Pictures.

She’ll oversee the ad campaigns for all of the specialty arm’s releases, including John Curran’s “The Painted Veil,” which opens Dec. 20 in L.A. and Gotham. Other upcoming pics include “Mama’s Boy,” directed by Tim Hamilton, and Paul Haggis’ “In the Valley of Elah.”

O’Neil will continue to report to Warner Independent exec VP of marketing and publicity Laura Kim.

She has been with Warner Independent since its inception, serving as VP of creative advertising and overseeing releases including “March of the Penguins” and “Good Night, and Good Luck.”

Before arriving at the Warners lot, O’Neil was director of creative advertising at United Artists, where she worked on “Bowling for Columbine” and “The Good Girl,” among other titles.
