ICM has ramped up its concerts division by bringing in two urban music specialists from CAA.
Tenpercentery has signed music agents Dennis Ashley and Robert Gibbs, who bring with them Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown and Ne-Yo.
Ashley, who began his career at ICM in 1989, and Gibbs will be based in Los Angeles and report to concerts division co-heads Steve Levine and Terry Rhodes.
By moving to ICM, Ashley and Gibbs “create an opportunity to strengthen and expand our concerts division and illustrate our commitment continue to grow our business in four core areas: music, television, film and publishing,” ICM co-president Chris Silbermann said in a statement.
ICM’s concerts division represents musicians Usher, the Game, Nick Lachey, Teddy Geiger and Patti LaBelle, plus comedians Jon Stewart, Jay Leno and George Carlin.
