Touchstone Television is restructuring its business affairs department, promoting several key execs and recruiting three new staffers.
Key move is the addition of Jeff Frost to senior VP of business affairs. He comes to Touchstone from ABC, where he was senior VP of legal affairs.
In conjunction with Frost’s arrival, Touchstone biz affairs exec VP Howard Davine has also slapped VP stripes on David Goldman and Roger Kirman. Joining the company as veepees are Jacqui Grunfeld and Kim Hershman.
Frost reports to Davine, who cited Frost’s “track record of success in positions of significant responsibility across key Disney divisions” in announcing the hire.
In addition to overseeing the day-to-day activities of Touchstone business affairs, Frost will handle negotiations between Touchstone and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Prods., which produces “Alias,” “Lost” and “What About Brian.”
Before taking on his new role at Touchstone, Frost covered business and legal affairs for various Disney properties. He had previously worked as senior VP of legal affairs for the ABC Cable Network Group and as an associate at various law firms.
Grunfeld is returning to Touchstone after a stint at NBC Universal Television Studio, where she was a VP of business affairs in charge of all above-the-line agreements for the development and production of pilots and series.
Hershman comes to Touchstone from Showtime Networks, where she was a VP. She helped work on deals for shows such as “The L Word” and “Fat Actress.”
