New York State of mind: “I love the theater and the acting pool that is here because of the theater. I love walking and taking the subway. I love having a lot of friends who are in everything from investment banking to fashion, just the varied people that are great in different fields. My dream coming from Wisconsin was to be successful in New York. I didn’t want to be the head of a studio or anything like that. I wanted to be a success in this city.”

Downtime: “When I stay in town I take my dog and we go for a walk or a bike ride up the Hudson River Park. If I go away I will go visit friend in the Hamptons.”

Night moves: “In the theater district I love Bar Centrale. Also I am a member of the Soho House so I like going there as well.”

Sustenance: “Perry Street in the West Village is one of my favorite restaurants.”
