“Altar Boyz” continues to spread the word: The Off Broadway tuner will bow in Budapest, Hungary March 23.

That’ll be the third production spawned by the original, which has been running Off Broadway for close to two years. The touring production is in the midst of a 30-week tour of the U.S., while a Korean incarnation opened in Seoul in the spring.

Cast, including Hungarian thesps Attilla Dolhai and Arpad Zsolt Meszaros, will even record a Hungarian cast album.

Show, a comedy about a Christian boy-band, will be produced by Budapest’s Pentaton Agency at the 520-seat Thalia Theater. Company hopes to tour Hungary with the production after its run in Budapest.
