Second Stage has tapped Anton Dudley’s “Getting Home” and Rajiv Joseph’s “All This Intimacy” for its annual Theater Uptown series of new plays, running this summer at Off Broadway’s McGinn/Cazale Theater. Both are world preems.

“Getting Home” is a Gotham fairy tale that involves a love triangle and a prince in a yellow chariot. The play, by the author of “Slag Heap” (seen Off Broadway last year), begins perfs June 5 under the direction of David Schweizer (“Wintertime,” “Songs From an Unmade Bed”).

“All This Intimacy” chronicles a 30-year-old poet’s relationships with his girlfriend, his religious neighbor and his 18-year-old student. Joseph’s play “Huck and Holden” had a run at the Cherry Lane earlier this year. “Intimacy,” helmed by Giovanna Sardelli, takes the stage July 17.

The three previous seasons of the series yielded work by up-and-comers Adam Bock, Brooke Berman and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, whose “Based on a Totally True Story” is in previews at MTC.
