Andrew Lloyd Webber and Hal Prince have cast their Phantoms, Christines and Carlottas for the Las Vegas production, drawing on actors with Broadway and road experience but no big names.

Only the women double cast as Carlotta — Elena Jeanne Batman and Geena Jeffries — have “Phantom” experience. Batman did the role on Broadway, Jeffries in a touring company.

Brent Barrett, who starred opposite Reba McEntire in “Annie Get Your Gun” on Broadway, and Anthony Crivello, who won the featured actor in a musical Tony for “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” will share the role of the Phantom at the new, $40 million theater at the Venetian.

Cast as Christine, the role originated by Sarah Brightman, are Elizabeth Loyacano, an ensemble member of “The Woman in White” and “Dracula, the Musical” on Broadway, and Sierra Boggess, who has toured as an ensemble member in “Les Miserables.”

“Phantom — The Las Vegas Spectacular,” a 90-minute version of the Broadway and West End smash, begins previews in June.
