Alliance’s Kendeda winner to attend O’Neill conference

Annual competition offers budding scribes a break

Beginning this year, the winner of the Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Competition at the Alliance Theater will attend the annual O’Neill National Playwrights Conference in Waterford, Conn. Each year, final-year students at some 20 graduate playwriting programs nationwide are invited to submit a play to the competition.
