BERLIN — Silver Bear winner “The Road to Guantanamo” was among a slew of pics picked up at the recent European Film Market by Danish distrib Sandrew Metronome for Scandinavia.

Also in the company’s basket was James Grey’s “We Own the Night,” which stars Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Wahlerg; Arctic documentary “The White Planet,” from Thierry Ragobert and Thierry Piantanida; and Panorama screeners Lian Lunson’s “Leonard Cohen: I’m Your Man”; and Michel Gondrys “Dave Chapelle’s Block Party.”

Canadian distrib Seville Pictures, meanwhile, acquired nine titles at the movie mart, including Competition screener “The Elementary Particles”; Lars von Trier’s new pic, “The Boss of It All”; Dalia Hager and Vidi Bilu’s Israeli film “Close to Home”; and Susanne Biers’ “After the Wedding.”

Seville also nabbed Denis Dercourt’s “La Toureuse de Pages”; Gerald Hustache-Mathieu’s “April in Love”; “How to Get Rid of the Others” from Danish helmer Anders Ronnow-Klarlund; Luu Huynh’s Vietnamese film “The White Silk Dress”; and Nicolas Philiberts “Back to Normandie.”
