Exec replaces Hewlett

LONDON — Twentieth Century Fox has appointed Ian George managing director of its U.K. theatrical division.

George, previously head of distribution at Pathe, will replace Simon Hewlett, who has left to join Universal’s new U.K. arm.

George joined Pathe from Warner Bros., and was promoted to distribution m.d. in 2001.
