Dutch format and clip distributor Film Content Company Europe has picked up rights to Dutch film and TV production outfit Shooting Star’s archive of 3,000 arthouse film clips.
These include interviews with filmmakers Alan Parker, Peter Greenaway and Quentin Tarantino.
FCCE was launched in October, and already had a collection of 9,000 interviews of Hollywood and local Dutch stars carried out over a 20-year career by FCCE co-founder and Dutch TV host Rene Mioch.
The 20-year old Shooting Star began focusing on arthouse films 13 years ago. It has also cranked out some of Holland’s most famous kidpics, including “Little Crumb” and “Peter Bell” 1 & 2.
