First Look Studios has reshuffled its exec suite with the hiring of Village Roadshow veteran Reid Sullivan as exec VP-chief financial officer.
Bill Lischak, who joined the company in 1988 when it was Overseas Film Group, plans to ankle at the end of the year from his posts as prexy, chief operating officer and CFO. Henry Winterstern will assume the presidency in addition to his role as CEO.
Sullivan joins First Look after a seven-year stint at Village Roadshow Pictures Entertainment, the U.S.-based production division of Australian parent Village Roadshow. He served as exec veep and CFO.
Sullivan also worked for Sony Pictures Entertainment for eight years.
Lischak has been CFO since 1988 and was named chief operating officer in 1990 and president in 2003. He’s overseen the financing of the company as well as its film projects and the 2005 merger with Capital Entertainment to form First Look Studios.
“I wish Bill Lischak all the best,” Winterstern said. “He brought a startup company to the point of being a real force in the market.”
Hollywood-based First Look has five key operating units: a U.S. theatrical distribution and production operation; a U.S. video and DVD distribution operation; an international sales arm; a branded entertainment arm; and a TV operation.
