Brittany Snow has been cast as the lead of indie pic “Finding Amanda,” starring Matthew Broderick and being written and directed by Peter Tolan.
Shooting will begin January 3 in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Pic revolves around a strung-out TV producer (Broderick) who is sent by his wife on a mission to save their niece Amanda (Snow), who’s a hooker and stripper living in Las Vegas.
Rich Heller and Wayne Rice are producing the pic, which was financed under their Capacity Pictures banner.
Snow will next star in New Line’s musical adaptation “Hairspray” in the role of Amber Von Tussle. She’s also been seen in Fox’s “John Tucker Must Die” and Disney’s “The Pacifier.”
She is repped by ICM and managed by Untitled Entertainment.
