NEW YORK — Continuing to ramp up under CEO Henry Winterstern, L.A.-based indie label First Look Studios has upped Amy Beecroft to veep of international theatrical distribution.
In December, Winterstern tapped Ken DuBow to head up First Look’s international unit as exec VP of worldwide sales.
Reporting to DuBow, Beecroft will be charged with growing international sales for the company. He will also oversee expanded territories and select projects for development as well as acquisitions.
First Look’s international division also includes senior veep of worldwide sales and distribution Liz Mackiewicz.
Company is currently handling sales on the Gregg Araki-helmed comedy “Smiley Face,” as well as horror pic “The Breed,” produced by Wes Craven.
Beecroft joined First Look in 2003 as director of worldwide sales and distribution.
Prior to First Look, exec worked at Cinemavault Releasing as VP of international sales.
