Stylejam rolls a ‘Seven’ for English remake

Japanese shingle Stylejam has picked up sales rights to fantasy drama “The Seven Days of Assistant Manager Tsubikayama” and has set up the pic as an English-language remake.

Drawn from a popular novel by Asada Jiro, story follows an ugly salaryman who after a brief spell in purgatory returns to earth in the body of a beautiful woman.

Original pic, helmed by Keita Kono, bows in Japan next week in a medium-wide 150-print release through Shochiku.
