Focus Films, the boutique production and distribution org controlled by Andy Lau, picked up international sales rights to two Malaysian movies, including Pusan fest winner “Love Conquers All.”

“Love,” by first-time femme helmer Tan Chui Mui, was named best picture in the New Currents competition section and by the Fipresci jury. Pic was produced by Malaysia’s Da Huang Pictures.

Firm also took on rights to “Mukshin,” story of first-time love by director Yasmin Ahmad (“Sepet”). Pic was produced by Grand Brilliance.
