Comedy Central unveils Motherload

Channel will feature toons, live-action, stand-up, more

Motherload, the newly launched broadband channel from Comedy Central, has unveiled its development slate for 2006 with an emphasis on original programming.

Channel will feature animation, live-action, stand-up and sketch comedies.

Slate includes new episodes for VH1 parody clip-show “All Access: Medieval”, including material such as “Worst Breakups: Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn”, and new skein “Good God”, which uses the model of “The Office” to explore God’s working environment.

Returning shows include Motherload’s “Meet the Creeps” and “Odd Todd”.
